I am a specialist wedding and ponait photographer based in Eastleigh which is located between Winchester and Southampton As a qualified member of The Master Photographers Association and The British Institute of Professional Photography the leading professional organisations in the UK I have been photographing weddings and ponaits for some years establishing the business in 1979 Although I cover some of the other types of photography- public relations and commercial work-I am nearly always working with people The advent of digital photography has led to many exciting changes and has stimulated the need to continue to provide creative wedding photography but with more informal and casual as well as the traditional and classic pictures Contemporary photography obviously reflects Society\'s changing trends and extends to ponaiture as well as weddings To some extent this explains the resurgence in the popularity of black and white and sepia prints particularly for ponaits-bridal family or child etc However I still enjoy the wedding photography because each maniage is different-whether in church hotel or Register Office for a religious civil panership or humanist ceremony Meeting new people in new situations is always interesting If I could only choose the weather!
